PRODUCTION & BACK OF HOUSE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

REQUIREMENTS
·Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
·Must be able to pass a MI DOT Physical to authorize CMV driving
·Must be able to lift at least 50lbs multiple times throughout the work day
·Must be able to work at a computer station for several consecutive hours throughout the day


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Training of Event Staff and Crew Leaders

  • Work with leadership on the interviewing and hiring process of staff.

  • Assist with training of all back of house staff.


·Staff supervision

  • Creating weekly scheduling of staff.

  • Work with the leadership to take corrective or disciplinary action as needed.

  • Ensure quality customer service is being provided to each and every customer.

·Warehouse and inventory management

  • Oversee inventory system to assess and ensure product is maintained properly.

  • Manage the pulling and preparation of inventory items prior to event orders being executed.

  • Manage laundry processing to ensure all products are ready to leave the warehouse on time for scheduled events.

  • Work with leadership team to identify needed inventory items for sub-renting.

  • Make adjustments to inventory system as needed.


·Maintain ongoing communication with Management Team

  • Attend weekly meeting to ensure clear communication.

  • Contribute to ongoing discussions regarding development and improvement.


·Sales and Invoicing

  • Meet with clients on site as needed to provide high quality customer service during event preparations.

  • Process accurate invoices with detailed information for production purposes.

  • Communicate with customers and venues to ensure delivery information is accurate.

  • Enforce policies and procedures related to record keeping in order to accurately track inventory.

  • On-site presence for face to face interactions with rental customers for strategic partnerships and events.

  • Ongoing networking to reinforce the customer service quality goals and expectations of the company.

  • Assist with laundry team as needed, including but not limited to washing, pressing, wrapping and stocking.

  • General repair and maintenance work in the warehouse or other areas of the building including, but not limited to:

-Cleaning and organizing
-General “handyman” repairs

SHOWROOM & FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

REQUIREMENTS

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with leadership on the interviewing and hiring process of all staff.

  • Assist with training of all staff as needed.

·Staff supervision

  • Management of the Back of House Manager and Showroom Coordinator.

  • Remain familiar and communicated needed adjustments to team calendar.

  • Work with the leadership to take corrective or disciplinary action as needed.

  • Ensure quality customer service is being provided to each and every customer.

  • Client liaison and designer

  • Communicate with clients on inquiries, scheduling appointments and assisting with orders as they are placed.

  • Primary staff member to provide consultation and design services for clients.

  • Create estimates, invoices and communicate with clients to successfully book orders through the inventory management software.

·Warehouse and inventory direction

  • Oversee inventory system to assess and ensure product is maintained properly.

  • Work with leadership and Back of House Manager on any fabric or rental item purchasing that needs to take place.

  • Communicate with the Back of House Manager to ensure the pulling and preparation of inventory items prior to event orders being executed.

  • Oversee Back of House Manager to ensure laundry and products are ready to leave the warehouse on time for scheduled events.

·Maintain ongoing communication with Management Team

  • Attend weekly meeting to ensure clear communication.

  • Contribute to ongoing discussions regarding development and improvement.

·Sales and Invoicing

  • Work with clients and Showroom Coordinator to ensure proper paperwork, contracts and account information is accurate and up to date.

  • Communicate with customers and venues to ensure delivery information is accurate.

  • Enforce policies and procedures related to record keeping in order to accurately track inventory.

  • On-site presence for face to face interactions with rental customers for strategic partnerships and events.

  • Ongoing networking to reinforce the customer service quality goals and expectations of the company.

EVENT PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBER
 

REQUIREMENTS

·Must be able to lift at least 50lbs multiple times throughout the work day

·Must be able to work while standing for long periods of time

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Event production Work with production manager to execute onsite event deliveries and installations with extreme attention to detail and accuracy

  • Pick up of event rental items, loading of trucks/vans post event

  • Work with production manager to check in orders that are returned, process appropriately for necessary cleaning and communicate on any damages.

  • Clean rental items as directed and restock in warehouse.

  • Assist in order preparation as needed. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and event processing space to ensure quality production and attention to detail.
