What is your cancellation and reschedule policy?

Special Occasions reserves the right to charge a non refundable retainer of 25% if the event is cancelled prior to 30 days of event. Any cancellation within 30 days of the event will be responsible for full rental cost. If the event date is rescheduled or postponed, penalty is waived if rescheduled within 6 months of cancellation. CUSTOM ORDERED LINENS AND CHIAVARI CHAIR RENTALS CAN NOT BE CANCELED AT ANY TIME AFTER CONTRACT SIGNING AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO FULL RENTAL COST.

How do I reserve my rental?

Linens, chairs, and any rental items are reserved for your date only when the following items are received: Signed Rental Agreement, Credit Card Authorization Form with valid credit card, 25% non refundable deposit.

What happens if my rental becomes damaged?

We are experts at getting stains out! If you had a spill or accident, we are generally able to take care of the situation with no added charge. We hope you will take care of our items as if they were yours. Renter assumes responsibility of linens, chairs and any other rental item and agrees to maintain these items in the condition they are sent. This includes but is not limited to tears, rips, mold, mildew, wax or holes. Client hereby authorizes use of the credit card on file should Special Occasions receive items back that are damaged beyond future use. The credit card will not be charged unless there are damages or missing items and any charges will be made once the rentals have been collected, counted and inspected. Special Occasions will provide an invoice for any applicable amount prior to any charges taking place.

Can I pick up my rental?

Yes! We offer both delivery and pick up, simply let our staff know. Rentals must be picked up in a secure vehicle. Chair covers are in large containers and orders of more than 100 will require a large vehicle,van, SUV, or some form of covered transportation. Linens are on hangers and will need to be laid out flat or hung. Orders may not be takenin an open bed truck or trailer. Weekend orders must be picked up on Thursday between the hours of 9-4pm and are due back Mondaybetween 9-4pm. Weekday events may be picked up the day prior to the event and are due back the following business day. Pick up and dropoff times may only be arranged outside of the hours if expressly communicated in advance of your event week.

What happens if I return my products late?

If products are retunred late, it prevents us from cleaning and preparing it for the next rental. Orders not returned on time will be charged the full rental cost for each additional day the items are retained. After 3 days you will becharged the full replacement cost of your order.

Do you have a minimum for an order?

No! We invite you to rent anything from 10 napkins to 500 linens - we've got you covered!

What should I bring to my appointment?

We welcome you to bring your ideas, photos, swatches or anything that you wish to incorporate into your special occasions. Fresh out of ideas? Not to worry, our designers are here to help you select the perfect products for any occasion.

Chairs - Can chairs be used outside?

Our wooden folding chairs may be used outside. Chiavari chairs and cross-back farm chairs are for indoor use only OR may be used outside on a cement or wooden floor and must be have prior approval.

Chairs - Why can Chiavari or Cross-back Farm Chairs only be used inside or on a paved or wooden surface outside?

We promise to maintain the BEST rental items for all of our guests. All of our items are cleaned regularly but when chairs are placed outside dirt/sand/grass/etc. gets inside the pads and legs of the chairs it makes it impossible to remove. Treating our products as careful as possible allows us to have beautiful quality products for our customers. Our wooden folding chairs may be used outside off from a paved surface.
